I am a runner but I am really saddened to know i will need to take time off. They will also do a plantar plate tear surgery. How many months until you were active again? It seems odd to me that I got bone shaved off and yet my feet seem wider. I can’t believe they could still be that swollen. My dr says up to a year, but really? I also feel like I still see a bump on the side, but I can see on the X-ray where they were shaved off. I had lapiplasty on my right foot in Jan and now my left foot needs redone. Thankful it is minimal this time. Still asking for prayers for an easy recovery. They want me walking right away.
