Hello. For last couple weeks I have been having pain under/more towards bottom top left foot third toe while walking. I went to a Podiatrist and took X-Rays which were of no concern. I was recommended to wear Zentoes Gel Top Cap but it hardly helps. Not sure if I have to give it few days for the product to work? Podiatrist wants to see me in 3 weeks and I was recommended ‘Flexor Tenotomy’ procedure which is considered minimally invasive to fix my Hammer Toe. I wear wide size sneakers and the doctor didn’t mention anything about my shoes. They seem comfortable. Has anyone had this procedure done? Should I get a second opinion from another Podiatrist? Any recommendations?

Not sure if the pain I have is similar. I would describe it as coming from the ball of my left foot at the metatarsal joint of the third toe. X-ray showed nothing. MRI showed a torn ligament. Dr recommended stem cell injection. I opted for metatarsal pads on my orthotics, ice packs and Meloxicam. It’s been two months and slowly getting better.

it is, but the pain presents under the toes. I’ve got MN and also had a ganglionic cyst that was on the side of my foot but low down and right near my little toe but the most painful area with that was under my foot
Sharon Green What is MN? My pain is solely on the edge and under my third toe only.
Any suggestions?
