HELP: I have had sever pain on top of my foot at the base of my toes where they join the foot. I now have severe pain on bottom foot in the fat pad. I am 44 in shape and very active. I play pickleball and b-ball and workout regularly. I’ve deal with this top of foot for a long time. Insoles help but I have bunions so prefer Birkenstock sandals as they are open toe yet have some arch support. Those may now be a problem. Do I need better shoes? Better insoles? Rest? My feet ache and hurt 24/7. I dealt with planter fasciitis a couple years ago and that knocked me out for about six months. I thought that was the worst but this scares me a bit more! Thank you so much for your help.

I have awful mid-foot arthritis and Birkenstocks are the only shoes (not sandals) I am able to wear. And I tried so many, many shoes. Spent a fortune. I love my Birkenstocks.

As crazy as this sounds I had severe pain on top of my foot and I couldn't afford to go to the doctor I had searched so many things I ended up ordering this and yes we use this on horses when they had arthritis joint pain and muscle pain. Holy crap this worked it's on Amazon

Birkenstocks gave me plantars fasciitis. I only wear HOKAS now, and my feet have been pain free for 3 years.
