Hi - new member here. I have bunions and hammer toes. I've been able to get by with shoes with a wide toe box and/or stretchy material. Merrell shoes have worked for me the best, but of course limited styles. I want to avoid surgery as I live alone and am a senior citizen. As long as I have comfortable shoes I'm fine. I'm looking for suggestions for other brands, especially for a dress shoe, as my niece is getting married in August. Has anyone tried Vivaia shoes? Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions.

Hi I have spent a long time and lots of orders and returns trying to find a comfortable smart shoe for my son's wedding. I eventually found some. Gabor shoes, John Lewis sell them. They are expensive but it's the only shoe I found I could wear.

Anya reviews shoes, there might be some ideas on her website. Search for “Anya’s reviews” or “Anya’s shoe reviews” and her site should show up. She focuses on wide toe box footwear and barefoot type too.

I should add that I’m trying to strategize a wedding guest outfit for September too. I’m aiming for long and hoping to wear Topo or Altra running shoes with the floor length dress. I’ve been searching for outfit ideas on Google and Pinterest by typing in “sneaker and dress outfits” or “black and white sneaker outfits” and there are some great ideas on how to style a dress with sneakers. DB Wider Fit Shoes cater for bunions and hammer toe. I have a few pairs from them which I'm very happy with.

I have a pair of dance shoes like this & they are comfortable. They come in wide. https://www.sodanca.com/.../women.../products/carly-ch09... I'm not sure if it is the same one I have, but mine has a soft & wide toe box which doesn't rub on my bunions.
