I have to say this was the best experience!

I have to say this was the best experience! I was reading all the post op posts on here and was scared to death of the recovery after bunion surgery. Posts of so much pain, not being able to bear weight for several weeks, unable to mive their big toe without alot of pain and no driving for several months. I cancelled my surgery. Then I found and Dr Sklar! Holy Moly! The absolute opposite of all the posts! Weight bearing the same day, not on the ball of my foot of course but I walked out of the surgery unit in a post op shoe. The first three days were definitely painful. However, with the pain meds definitely doable. On day four I started taking Tylenol and that was perfect. I drove and went back to work after 10 days with no problems at all. I limited my walking to 15 minutes every hour and iced when I got home. I was able to move my big toe on my own on day four and in a gym shoe after 14 days. The entire staff is beyond, friendly and amazing and kind and knowledgeable, encouraging and wonderful! If you’re putting off your surgery because you’re not sure how the recovery is going to be or any type of fear, you need to see Dr. Sklar in his team. Best decision I ever made!
