It's almost 6 weeks post op after 2nd toe hammer toe surgery, and still have a very thick scab that isn't falling off. How long should it take? I've seen where patients say it left a big hole when it finally came off. Anyone experienced this?

As long as there is no sign of infection or drainage you can bathe with it and the scab will soften up and either fall off or you can pick it carefully off
