Recently I noticed big toes were leading to second toes , it was more obvious for left toe.

Recently I noticed big toes were leading to second toes , it was more obvious for left toe. Sometimes I feel needles on the big toes. So I went to see a GP. He said he wouldn't refer me to specialist unless I have eg hammer toes or deformed bones, and also my needle sensation is not happening all the time. He only asked me to continue wearing toe spacers and do a blood test. Now I feel helpless coz it seems he can't refer me to a foot doctor yet . Was this also how your GP advise you ?
