I just wanted to introduce myself and share a photo I took. I’m Stephanie. I’m 52. I’ve had bunions since I was a teenager in high school. I put off the surgery as I was told to not do it until it hurt enough. No one tells you what enough is. I waited until it was hard to walk and hurt and I was falling. I had my left foot surgery May 25th as it was the worst of the two and the one giving me the most pain. Last week I got the all clear to walk on my toes, shower like a normal person without the bath chair and bag around my leg. I can wear open toed shoes on both feet. I get to be normal. So… I work in education. I will be on my feet most of the day. I know there will be swelling. What shoes/sandals do I need to get in transition? Right now everything is too tight on my operated foot due to swelling and seems not padded enough it seems. What do I need? When did you all get your other foot done after the first?
