Guys, I know it's crazy but I drove with my left foot after 3 days and I completely wouldn't recommend it!

My right foot did not need hammertoe surgery this time. I had the same protocol last time & feel that it was a success. I wore the wedge shoe more often with last surgery. It made me feel that it was more protected. I think I even wore it to bed the first few days with the first surgery. Curious (& will ask podiatrist) if the reason that I don't have a weight restriction is due to the wedge shoe. Maybe I shouldn't be heel walking in my house without the shoe? Thoughts? Thanks all! MIS keyhole surgery is WB if that's what you mean by "weight restrictions." It's not the name of the surgery so much as how it's done.

It is still early. You can have swelling for a year. I did. It is a very long process.

Comment Amanda Carr I am getting one about 8 weeks after my surgery. Something to think about is how your body will react to another "injury" and how it my slow down the healing (think 2 wound sites vs 1).
