I've battled with my toenail fungus for 20 years, trying various topical over the counter medications, curanail, scholl....they did not work. I tried soaking them in epsom salts, applying tea tree oil, which did improve them but not destroy the fungus permanently. I tried imperial feet as it was highlighted rated on amazon, that just made the nails soft to cut it back, again not killing the fungus. I then tried laser treatment, which was expensive, but came highly rated to cure toenail fungus. I had high hopes but it did not work. I finally had success in February 2025. I went to my doctors and got prescribed antifungal terbinafine tablets, 1 a day for 3 months, it's taken a few more months for the nails to fully regrow but I'm now toenail fungus free.

Problem with drugs like Terbinafine is they may fix your toe fungus but destroy liver function and increase risks elsewhere. Typical pharma product.

I do think it affects your gut microbiome also so check into that before using. But wow good for you!

Anonymous member 548 they test your blood to make sure you're a good candidate for the drug, and it varies from person to person. Their reactions will not be your reactions. I'm on it with no symptoms.

Hi Everyone, I’ve been dealing with stubborn toenail fungus since 2009. It has gradually gotten worse. I tried 2 rounds of Terbinafine in 2023 and 2025. It did nothing. Maybe I waited too long. Now trying Nonyx from Amazon along with filing my nail down regularly to keep it from getting too thick. I joined this group for more treatment ideas and also ideas on how to disguise it since summer time is coming…

I took oral antifungals 20 years ago for a stubborn fungus in my second toenail -- only there, nowhere else, and they worked. Now, 20 years later, it CAME BACK in the same toe. I'm just amazed - in a bad way LOL - I will try the natural stuff first. I read somewhere that using DMSO with over the counter antifungals improves the success rate.
