Got an appointment with a podiatrist today & she diagnosed me with a trapped nerve/mortons neuroma in both feet. After years of being in pain & not knowing what's wrong, I'm so relieved to know what was going on. Been measured for orthotics next week as waiting on mri results from tomorrow's test. Also told me to ice my feet for up to 5 mins in and out..I can say, while it's not a total fix, I'm able to much a bit more freely around and I can move my toes better lol. It's amazing what one person's diagnosis can do. I'm alot happier than I was about it all today than I have been in a while.

So her diagnosis was to just ice it? I have the same issue both my big toes are numb

nope that was just part of it. She's going to wait for the mri results to figure out exactly how to fit the orthotic. Told me to have the feet massaged and roll it on a massage ball as well. They've helped so far doing it.

I have Morton’s neuroma in 1 foot and it is starting in the other. I also have bunions which cause Morton’s neuroma. I walk a lot for my work so it’s difficult, I bought orthotics online and they work but I can’t use them all day because they are hard and due to the nerve pain I need soft cushioned soles. What has helped me greatly is believe it or not. I massage my feet every night with that Vicks vapor rub, I ice my feet every day after work. I did get the Cortizone shot and it did absolutely nothing. That was about six months ago. So, I don’t know where I’m going with us, it might be surgery, but I really don’t want to
