At the age of 20, I started experiencing pain in my right big toe, and around the same time I developed chronic muscle tightness in my calves. Over the years, this tightness gradually spread to my thighs, glutes, and lower back, and also to muscle tightness around the shoulder blades and chest (not sharp pain, more of a constant tight feeling). That makes me need a very large toebox for a wide and sensitive forefoot but the rest of my foot is just a medium. I'm a hiker and it's a very hard for me to find a comfortable hiking boot. I've tried Keens, Merrells, Altra, I even tried Hanwag, which advertises itself as the bunion shoe. Does anyone have any recommendations? Oh, I also tried ortho feet and that one wasn't comfortable either. Shared post
