I feel like my custom orthotics are making the pain worse.

I feel like my custom orthotics are making the pain worse. Is that possible? I also have worn orthotics for over a decade . I used to work for a chiro. So when my podiatrist said my orthotics are too flexible and I need more rigid ones I was highly skeptical. Why would I want more rigid I thought . Well you do . More on that later. What are the possibilities they will find? Will they see my Morton's Neuroma? What about Baxters nerve entrapment? Cas Marie I have had foot pain for 2 years and nothing seems to help but certain shoes definitely make it worse and all inserts feel like a marble under my arch and then make all my pain worse. I have a flexible arch so when I stand it gets pretty flat so it seems I need something with very minimal support. Anyone else have a similar story and have success moving past this pain?
