Does anyone else have deep corn problems on the ball of the foot/ under bunion. It predates the start of the bunion which started about 10 yrs ago, the deep corn when I was in my twenties. I have to see a podologist every four weeks to be able to walk. In the last six months the bunion is hurting a lot more. Its time to do something. Im worried about the combination of the two for the healing. Hoping for MIS. I walk a lot, even with the pain.

I had problems with hard firm deep corns under the ball of my feet and at the side of the bunions before my severe bunions were removed but that's one of the great things that disappeared after my surgery. They have completely gone\! You have just reminded me and I am thankful
I used to get these, I stopped walking round in bare feet, it worked for me.

That's a plantar wart
may I suggest for now you switch to Altra shoes and correct toes toe spacer? This is because of the way your foot is taking the load. Wearing foot shaped shoes and the spacers could help that
Ive worn barefoot shoes the last three years, I think its the only way I can still walk distances, but theres no arch support (have tried adding stick in supports) the toe spacers are good sometimes but sometimes cause more pain under my big toe
The corn and the way you walk could be what caused the bunion. It's what causes callouses and corns are just really deep callouses.
Im also wondering if the corn has caused my bunion, makes sense, my foot lifting and twisting away from the pain
I use to get that on the bottom of my foot but after having a bunionectomy it went away
Catherine Hock Lamberti apparently mine is likely caused from the inside, bone protrusion so Im hoping surgery will end this misery too

Corn pad will help and you seem to need orthotics it seems. Something is rubbing on your toe also. It looks really sore. Find the best shoes money can buy that supports your needs.
Do your shoes have arch support? It might help.
