Has anyone ever had the procedure done where the doctor pokes holes in your heel supposedly to enhance healing? I cannot think of the name of it, but that’s how she described it to me. I’ve already had a full fascia release back in August and am still in so much pain! She’s suggested redoing the surgery but also doing this hole poking thing as well? Any thoughts?

I haven’t tried a brace, but I can’t sleep on my back. I pulled a muscle on my right lower side so I sleep on my left side. So I wouldn’t think it would mess up sleeping on a side, cause I’d break the drs orders and sleep on my side

Deborah Caine I wore it a few hours, then when I couldn't stand it, took it off. A few hours is better than nothing. Gives the facia time to heal.

Thanks everyone! Still waiting to hear back on what the actual procedure is called that she was talking about.

Hmmmm... That could be several very different things. Should probably get them to clarify the name of the procedure.
