Hello, well today I started physical therapy for PT and I am feeling like I can do the four exercises that were given to me at home, I really hope this won’t be a waste of my time, anyone here, have you tried physical therapy?? Does it help ? RelaxingGoldfish8425 Anybody familiar with the connection between plantar fasciitis and kidney stones? Estelle Jacobsen I am doing research on what my next move is. Server plantar fascia since start of year. 8.7mm thickness and a 9mm tear of the plantar fascia. I had to stop work. I have had prp injection, shock wave treatment and cortisone. Nothing worked. I had a mri in march and then in July and there has been no change. As I am not working and have rested it. I can walk around house for a few hours to cook and house work. With no pain. But stil Pamela Lindeback Not sure who this may help but I’m putting it out there. I started swimming, slowly. It was the only thing I could do to not feel pain in moving. Then I started water aerobics in 4’ of water building an invigorating routine. I have worked up to deep water aerobics and my PF foot and joint pain elsewhere has reduced over 50%. Amber Mower I just joined this group. I don’t actually have a diagnosis (I don’t have insurance) but I’m quite positive PF is causing my pain. I work a desk job but also own a micro bakery. So I sit a lot and stand a lot. I’m seeing a lot of stretching and strengthening in the group and will definitely be working on those. Is there a shoe you would recommend that could help me in the meantime while working on strengthening? UpbeatPineapple1963 Hello - I've just joined the group - I've suffered with PF on & off for 6 years now. It started after Lockdown 2020 when I spent 3 months at home in a pair of Crocs! Just looking at a pair of Crocs now hurts my feet! Having read through a lot of posts on here, it appears that most of the members are US based - is that correct? I don't recognise any of the brands recommended etc. Are there any UK members here? Elizabeth Trotter So many talk about how toe spacers have helped them. Two questions: what kind, and when do you wear them? Inside your shoes for regular walking? During exercise? At bedtime? TIA! 19 hours ago a day ago a day ago a day ago 2 days ago 3 days ago
