Hi all, I am having surgery for my planter fasciitis it’s Sept 4th but my pre op isn’t til next Thursday so I don’t know what to expect and am freaking out a little with work. I have slight scoliosis, Multiple Sclerosis and I'm a bit overweight. All of those factors are definitely coming into play and could be the cause of my pain Recently, my right foot is hurting a lot along the right side. I've tried ice, heat, massage gun, foot soaks, Epsom salt. My sneakers are New Balance and I have Oofoos recovery slides. I'm in agony!!! Bren Loukes Day three - post op open fasciotomy. I’ve stayed on a tight schedule of alternating every two hours Tylenol, ibuprofen, and 5 mg Oxycodone the first 36 hours. Slept well last night. Toes have thawed out. I do feel pain when I move them and a heavy feeling in the foot but manageable. Have three Oxy left for tonight and am making it through the day on ibuprofen and Tylenol and ice behind my knee. Only up to go to the bathroom. Foot elevated.
