Hi, early May I received customised orthotics and did my very best to break them in and get used to them. I found them to be rather painful as they are quite rigid, so went back to the specialist who fabricated them and although he adjusted them, things didn’t get much better. I wanted to give them a fair chance though and wore them for a few hours a day ever since. I noticed though back pain creeping in too. I’ve dumped HUNDREDS of dollars trying to get rid of this and the cork has been a very good choice in my case. I’d just rather not drop another $60 on insoles (I know. $60 isn’t THAT much, but after shoe after shoe, appointment after appointment, and treatment afte Shared post Jodie Northcott Firstly, I just need to note that I didn't have any issues with my plantar fascia prior to a traumatic partial rupture from an ankle roll in I had at the start of the year. I've had other issues with the foot 18 months prior (posterior tibial tenosynovitis), and imaging I had before and after that showed a normal plantar. I was placed on three weeks of non weight bearing, followed by another 12 weeks part time cam boot (I'm a chef and my physio cleared me to work with rigid May be an image of bone, xray and text Shared post 21 hours ago a day ago Learn More a day ago a day ago Learn More
