I am 10 days prior to bunion surgery. I broke my second metatarsal in June. The podiatrist said my bunion may have caused it. So in August I decided to go ahead and have the surgery which I will have on November 26. had both feet operated on in 1990 for bunions. I am miserable with plantar fasciitis. I am wondering if anyone else has had that too. Not sure if bunion and broken bone led to it. All I know is my heel hurts!

I am getting bunion surgery on December 12- I have developed plantar fasciitis too, which is WAY worse than the bunion pain at this point. My surgeon confirmed it’s bc of the way I walk on the outside of my foot bc of my bunion. So it makes sense that bunion + broken bone would cause you to have the same. Good luck with surgery!!
