I could use some advice, I started getting pain in my heel about 2 months ago. It got so bad I ended up seeing a doctor and he said I have plantar fasciitis in my heel and the bottom of the outside of my foot. He gave me a steroid medication and it helped a bunch but since it's back to painful. The doctor didn't give me much information but I'm assuming I'm flat footed. I ordered the arch support they recommended and started using that. Some days were bad some were good. It's been more bad than good lately so I decided to try a zoprez foot sleeve hoping for some relief but I'm on day 4 of using it and it seems like it's getting worse.i use the arch inserts in my tennis shoes daily but I guess I'm just looking for more things I can try since the $40 foot sleeve isn't helping. What has worked for you?

Ball massages, applying a magnesium ointment using a foot massager and wearing offos shoes all seem to help me. It might have to run its course.

Find out what is causing it, could be hips or working all day standing?

Before spending money on shoes you don’t know are for you- get some one to evaluate your walk to see what shoes you need. I use Road Runner. What has helped me is strengthening and stretching my calves. I use a slant board.

A lot of calf massaging, heavy weight training at gym, some things you mentioned, just keep at it, some days good, others not. Oh and Oofos seem to be working good.

I have tried everything out there. The problem is blood flow . Try soft wave therapy. Been researching this for 2 years now. It’s alll about getting better blood flow to the area.

It’s not about buying more and more gadgets. You need to strengthen your feet and stretch calf muscles.

Change your shoes. And get recovery slides to wear at home all the the time. has worked for me.

Hoka bondi 9 shoes. Also road runner shoe store makes custom inserts. Pricey but worth it. If you cant afford that get heel cups. They even sell them at Albertsons. Gives a good protection.

how does hips affect it? I was told by a chiropractor when I was 19 that my hips weren't aligned I'm 32 now and never did anything about that.
