I’ve been training for a marathon since March. It’s in October - 60 days out. This will be my third and I’m been running for years. In the last 2 months, I’ve developed PF pretty bad to where I couldn’t complete my long runs or really run at all. I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I know running a personal best is out of the question but What are the odds of rehabbing this so that I can at least run and finish? What should be plan of attack be for treatment? I hate to say this, but I have intense heel soreness when I walk still. It's kind of terrifyin. Anyone else have this outcome? My doctor told me there's lot's of scar tissue that could take up to a year to heal. The pain is worse now than it was before my surgery.
