So, I am not five months out. So glad I did this! I have been wearing TOPO tennis shoes and love them. Here is the deal, I dress up a bit for some classes I attend and wear Klogs (They are going out of business). They are platform no heel or wedge. I was wondering how others did wearing clogs of any type after surgery the first year. It is going to get cooler fast and Klogs are my go to. The new ones I bought last year were actually the reason I had surgery as I figured they were the only shoes that fit but the new ones nearly had me in tears wearing them on the foot I had surgery on. I even had them professionally stretched. All recommendations are welcome! Thanks in Advance!

Hi I wore my Rhode clogs a lot before my operation unfortunately, now I can't wear them get can't my left foot into them my heel hangs out at the back think my left foot is bigger now as I have two screws in my foot. Glad you have managed to find something to wear.x
I thought it was just me! I used to wear a half size bigger than I needed so hopefully they still fit.
I'm sure they will if they are a half size bigger. Unfortunately I can't wear flip flops now due to where my screws are so I just wear my trainers and adjustable sandals at the moment x.

Hi Jenn, not sure if you’re talking about the specific shoe pictured or not, but if you are then I’ll mention that I saw a post by Dr Conley at a few months back. Dr Conley said that footwear needs to be secure to feet. If we wear flipflops, mules, and clogs without a heel strap then our toes claw and grip to keep the footwear on. That toe gripping action causes plantar fasciitis and bunions. So if wearing any sandals or clog type footwear it’s best to have a heel strap to keep it on. We just ordered Origo shoes for a younger family member and the quality is impressive. The leather of the Origo smells really good and the stitches look tight and seams meet well. Maybe it’s worth a look at Origo? I’ll see if I can find another brand to suggest, so many on the website are pretty but maybe too thin of a sole for your purposes?
