The different shockwave therapies.
The different shockwave therapies. People get these confused. The first 2 are rarely effective. The last one ESWT is extremely effective but only a few doctors in the US own the machine. ESWT uses the same machine that is used to bust up kidney stones. It targets calcified tissue in the foot for people with advanced plantar fasciitis. The main differences: One time procedure instead of a bunch of sessions. Must be fully numbed with injections. Works for most everyone who has calcification.
