Which Altras are the best to use? Shared post Jeanne Clapsaddle-Janssen I've order, at least, 50 pairs of shoes from Amazon, wear them for a couple of days, then send them back.Nothing feels good. Im waiting for Kuru walking shoes from ebay- 65 dollars. The website same shows 160. I pray they are IT!!! I can't send these back. Shared post BrightRaccoon8629 Gravity Defyer anyone tried this shoe brand ? Shared post Kerrie Darbyshire Hi, my 11 year old has been diagnosed with this in one foot. She is in so much pain, I dont know whatvtondo for her. We have done rest and ice, which has not helped. She can't do any stretches as too painful, and struggling to walk. Tonight I have put a strap on her foot and changed from ice to warm. Any ideas what I can do to help her plz. Shared post Rebecca Hatfield-Haines Just invested in a pair of Brooks Launch shoes. The sales lady at the store was wearing them and she said they had helped her PF. Other than my ingrown toe nails, they are feeling good. I just have some foot fatigue from not normally wearing structured shoes to now wearing more structured shoes. Anyone else have these and find them helpful? Shared post Julie Mendell Lumpkin Hi, fellow PF warriors! I’m a few months into this, am in PT and am doing the calf stretches/strengthening and balance and foot exercises. My pain is bearable in my Birkenstocks, but, unfortunately, I can’t wear them at work or in my volunteer position. My PF pain is the worst in supportive shoes (Altras) with my Powerstep insert. I must have a wide toe box, so some shoes are not workable for me. Has anyone else experienced this? Shared post Dane Burmester Read This… Your feet have 26 bones in your foot, 19 Intrinsic muscles and approx 20 extrinsic muscles and tendons. Your feet have muscles Shared post BrightRaccoon8629 Is there anyone in this group that custom orthotics honestly did help them ? Shared post Amber Mower I just joined this group. I don’t actually have a diagnosis (I don’t have insurance) but I’m quite positive PF is causing my pain. I work a desk job but also own a micro bakery. So I sit a lot and stand a lot. I’m seeing a lot of stretching and strengthening in the group and will definitely be working on those. Is there a shoe you would recommend that could help me in the meantime while working on strengthening?
