How did you get fungus in your nail your story?

Amber Bodine I'm pretty sure a nail salon as well. I never would go get my nails done for this fear. Nearing the end of a twin pregnancy I couldn't reach my feet at all and was starting to look pretty rough. I should have just let it be.

I damaged my right big toe nail as a child. Probably from a salon also but because it was weak a susceptible to fungus, in my opinion.

I was taping my feet for plantar fascitis and trying to only change the tape every 2 days. I think the tape was still wet from the showers and not drying completely before putting on my shoes.

I didn't know what toenail fungus looked like back then. My ex had it severely, but he told me that his deformed toes and toenails were caused by a severe accident he had many years ago. One day i had to run outside real quick and it was wet and muddy so I slipped on his boots at the door ran out and back in as quick as I could. My feet were only in his boots 3 or 4 minutes but evidently it was long enough because shortly after that was when my toenails started looking like his toenails.
