I have hammer toes and bunions and one of my big toe has this nasty bunion.

I have hammer toes and bunions and one of my big toe has this nasty bunion. any suggestions on how to get rid of it.. I feel embarrassed.

To be honest the toenail doesn’t look fungal. It looks like great toenail dystrophy. Only 50% of thick, abnormal, discolored nails are due to fungus.

it’s possible your toenail has fungus but it is not the main reason your toenail looks that way. Nails that have horizontal lines/cracks, nails that are multi-layered, uniformly discolored, thick, grow slowly, etc are signs of being dystrophic or damaged, possibly by trauma. It is not caused by fungus. It’s called Great toenail dystrophy or also traumatic onychodystrophy.

All that apply to the appearance of the nails in the picture 🤷‍♂️. I guess if that isn’t fungus I may not have fungus either🤔. No need to worry or follow the page anymore 😊. What criteria are you using?
