I am currently 14K points short to qualify for a companion pass.
I am currently 14K points short to qualify for a companion pass. My next statement date is June 5th. I have flights booked for the memorial day weekend for me and my daughter. I am hoping to get companion pass before then, so I can add my daughter as companion and get her to travel free. In order to get 14K points quickly before May 23rd weekend, what are my options? If i book "non-refundable" hotel on SW for a July trip, pay $$ now, will the points I earn on that hotel booking, post to my account immediately (before 23rd May) or after my stay in July has completed? Is this a viable option to get my 14K quickly? please help! Thanks!

Lindsay Anne Sydney I am 1 week post op.I was sent home with a zimmer which I haven’t used since day 2 . I ordered a heal load bearing support boot from the internet and together with a chunky trainer on the other foot, I am managing to hobble about. I used a commode in hospital but haven’t needed any spt going to the toilet since coming home. I got a shower stool and a waterproof leg cover and I am managing with that , however I do have a wet room which makes things much easier. I don’t know how I would manage with a bath. I just washed myself with a flannel and a basin the first day home . Not sure if that helps?

Are you sure it was Denison students? There have been burglers casing cars in Brun Du and Granger the last few nights.

to the MAX Cinthia Walden Exit row concern on Southwest flight LGA to STL I was on a flight from LGA to STL Monday evening. I was sitting in the exit row. The row I was in on both sides had each seat taken. The exit row in front of me was completely empty, on both sides. A couple of passengers from our row and other rows volunteered to move to the exit row so it would be manned in case of an emergency. The stewardess said no. I can’t believe that this is safe?

Morrissey The FAA does NOT require anyone to sit in the exit row. That is the reason flight attendants are on the airplane. Speaking of which.. it’s “flight attendant” for this very reason. Safety. “Stewardess” is 50 years outdated.

1. Assigned seats are not a new concept. Other airlines have assigned seats since the dawn of commercial aviation. 2. No one has to be seated in the emergency exit row. That’s why there are safety information cards at every seat. Read them and follow
