Spending just 20 minutes in the sun each day has been shown to activate your body’s ability to fight harmful bacteria, fungi, and even parasites. This small amount of exposure triggers the release of over 200 antibacterial agents, which can help boost immunity and improve your overall health. Many underestimate the benefits of natural sunlight. Beyond its mood-boosting effects, it plays a key role in promoting your body's defense mechanisms. Your skin, which absorbs sunlight, produces Vitamin D, a crucial vitamin that helps regulate the immune system and protect against various infections. Vitamin D also helps improve bone health and supports cellular function. Sun exposure is free, natural, and vital for your well-being. While it's important to avoid excessive sun exposure to prevent skin damage, a brief daily dose of sunlight can be extremely beneficial. It’s a simple and easy way to boost your health without relying on medications or expensive treatments. ☀️🛡️ Sunshine is not just a source of light but a powerful natural medicine. I do my toes to the nose exercises every morning before getting out of bed and I wear my birkenstocks as indoor shoes. However, I fear that my birks have caused me to get ingrown toenails. I've already had to have the ingrown toenail removed on my big toe. Buy now my second and third tow on the same foot are also bothering me. I have also had some really badly cracked heals. My question is, can anyone recommend a sandal that I can use as an indoor shoe? Something with really good arch support, a flat, wide toe bed and some cushioning at the heal? My ques Shared post Donna Dwyer I have found something that is making my PF a LOT better for me (I'm well over two years in). My left ankle started hurting earlier this week so I googled "taping ankle for stability". First day, I only taped the sore ankle, but quickly realised, the PF in that foot was so much better from the taping. So next day, I did both feet. It's been 4 days since both feet have been taped (I have a shower much earlier each morning and let the tape dry before I put shoes on). I can walk around like a normal person now, even in the afternoon/evening I can still walk OK. I am not hobbling each time I stand up and need to walk. My feet (with the taping) feel about 99.5% better. I am not game to take the tape off as you can imagine. I have not taken any risks (like walking over 10K a day), but will try in a few weeks. I have googled and googled and I can't find the web page I found from a few days ago. I can explain though as it is pretty simple and only takes one piece of tape. You start at the top middle of your foot, you are going to go around and under your foot, back up the top, then around your ankle and back to the middle. Then cut off the tape, and that is it. The tape is tight and is supporting my arch and is specifically touching the PF spot on the bottom of foot (in the arch, up near the heel). I have tried heaps of taping techniques before, none as easy/quick as this, and none that worked pretty much instantly. My arch just needed the extra support from the tape. Anyway, please give it a try and let me know if it helps. I have found something that is making my PF a LOT better for me (I'm well over two years in). We agree that my arch and heel pain has much improved with replacing my shoes with better shoes ( ive been wearing Brooks Glycerin 21...love them), stretches, and insoles in slippers when walking around house. Ive been having a new excruciating pain in the side of my foot for a few weeks now. In a previous post, Marty Henry had mentioned having the same symptoms and suggested peroneal tendonitis. She said I don’t need to wear a boot or anything. She did not inject into tendon which suprised me. What did your drs say to do? Did it work for you?? No photo description available. Shared post
